The footer copyright line — the small text under your storefront like "© 2026 Your Company. All rights reserved." — now lives inside Templates → Template Settings → Footer, next to your cover photo and theme colors. The standalone "Copyright Text" app has been retired.

Why the change: it's the kind of thing you tweak once while setting up your storefront look, so keeping it with cover photo, theme color, and layout makes more sense than hiding it in its own app entry. One less thing in your Apps list, easier to find when you're styling your storefront.

If you'd already customized your copyright line, it stayed put and continues to show on your storefront — you'll just find the editor in the new location. If you never touched it, your footer keeps falling back to your company name as before.

If you set a coupon to "first order only" or limit it per customer, those rules used to silently pass for guest customers — which meant a guest could reuse the coupon as many times as they liked.

Now those coupons require the customer to sign in before they can be applied. Guests get a clear "Please sign in to use this coupon" message; signed-in customers continue to see the original error if they don't qualify.

Coupons without per-customer rules are unaffected — guests can still use those exactly as before.

Three new coupon controls landed in this release. Mix and match with your existing fixed-amount and percentage coupons.

• Free shipping coupons — waive the delivery fee instead of discounting the cart. Useful for "free delivery this week" campaigns or rewarding loyal customers.
• First order only — restrict a coupon to customers who have never placed an order with you. Standard new-customer welcome offer, now built in.
• Time-of-day and day-of-week limits — run a coupon only on certain hours (e.g. lunch 11:00–14:00, late-night specials 22:00–06:00) or only on chosen days (Mondays, weekends, etc.). Overnight ranges work too.

All controls are optional — leave them off and existing coupons behave exactly as before. Set them up under your coupon's edit page.

Run "buy 2 get 1 free", "buy a main get a drink half off", "buy 3 cheapest free", and similar deals — without writing custom rules.

Each BOGO coupon defines:

• What triggers the deal — specific items, a category, or anything in the cart, and how many are needed (Buy X)
• What the customer gets — same items, different items, a specific category, or just the cheapest item in the cart (Get Y)
• The reward — free, fixed amount off, or a percentage off

Deals repeat automatically: if a customer adds enough trigger items for two deals, they get two rewards. Works for food bundles, retail "3 for 2" promotions, services bundling — anywhere "buy more, get more" makes sense.

Create one under Coupons → New Coupon → choose Buy X Get Y as the type.

The single tabbed Settings page has been split into 12 focused pages with a sidebar to jump between them. Each area — General, Logo, Localisation, Working Hours, Ordering, Checkout, After Order, Time Slots, Messaging, Apps, Payment, Share Menu — has its own page with a clear URL.

Why the change: the old single-page layout grew too long to scan, and saving one tab risked clobbering changes you'd made to another. Splitting them makes it faster to find what you're looking for, easier to remember, and safer to edit one thing at a time.

On mobile, the sidebar collapses into a dropdown so the layout stays compact. All your existing settings carried over automatically — nothing to redo.

The item description editor has been rebuilt with a cleaner toolbar focused on what actually helps a product or service description — bold, italic, lists, links, emoji, and a few more essentials. The clutter (font sizes, custom colours, tables, image embeds) is gone.

The change also keeps your formatting safer behind the scenes: descriptions render consistently across your storefront, WhatsApp, and PDFs, and they're easier for AI agents and search engines to read.

Existing descriptions keep working as-is; new edits use the new toolbar automatically. No setup needed.

Three new QR-based payment methods for Southeast Asia merchants:

• DuitNow QR (Malaysia)
• Touch 'n Go eWallet
• S PAY GLOBAL

Each works the same way as the existing QR Code payment module — your customer scans the QR you upload, pays through their bank or wallet app, and you confirm the payment manually from the order page.

Speaking of QR codes — uploading the QR image into the payment module settings is now smoother. Images are stored alongside your other store assets and the upload supports the same file size limits as your logo and gallery.

Activate any of them under Settings → Apps. You'll upload a QR image and (optionally) a label so customers know which app to pay with.

Adyen joins WhatsMenu's payment options. At checkout, customers get an Adyen-hosted payment link covering the cards and local methods enabled in your Adyen account. Once they pay, the order is automatically marked paid in your dashboard via Adyen's webhook.

Useful if you're already on Adyen for another sales channel and want to consolidate, or if you want access to Adyen's broad coverage of card brands and local payment methods worldwide.

Activate under Settings → Apps → Adyen, then plug in your Adyen API key, merchant account, and HMAC key.

Coupons used to discount the whole cart. Now you can scope a coupon so it only applies to specific items or to a whole category — without giving the customer a discount on everything else they're buying.

When creating or editing a coupon, choose what it applies to:

• All items — original behaviour, discount calculated on the full cart subtotal
• Specific items — only the chosen products / services count
• Specific categories — everything under those categories qualifies

Use it for things like "10% off all cakes", "$5 off any haircut service", or "free delivery on bouquets only" — without touching pricing on the rest of your catalogue.

Two settings to make WhatsMenu feel native for your country, wherever you operate from:

• Default country — choose the country your store is based in. Phone number inputs across the admin and storefront default to the right country code, and customer addresses preselect it too.
• Date and time format — pick how dates and times appear (US-style MM/DD/YYYY, UK-style DD/MM/YYYY, ISO, 12-hour, 24-hour, etc.). Applies everywhere dates show up — order timestamps, reports, scheduled deliveries.

Both live under Settings → Localisation. Existing stores keep their previous behaviour; the new defaults only kick in when you explicitly change them.
